Our room (505) was more than we expected, though there were small levels (i.e. a few stairs upon entry and to the kitchen & bathroom) but no big problem at all. Previous reviews call for a new upgrade but we didn’t find that in our room- clean and everything looked fresh. The room was at the end of the fifth floor with two rooms close but we heard no noise from other rooms or from above. No pet sounds either and the hotel was reported full. The desk person (Anita) was very helpful and cheerful in making us feel welcomed when our room was ready (earlier than we expected). We parked in the back in the open area (not in the garage) and found no problem as the hotel has an elevator to all floors. Note there will be a $17 charge for parking. Breakfast was very good. The City Brewery had an entrance right off the hotel lobby so we did have a quick beer but Pratt Street is practically across the street where we found Vaughan’s Public House (an Irish Pub & Restaurant) where we had an excellent dinner. Anyway, we had no complaints and, based on this experience, would return to stay.

The staff, location and amenities were wonderful. Everyone we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue leaving the parking lot at checkout and the front desk staff were able to fix the issue immediately. The breakfast selection was diverse and it was nice to have familiar staples as well as different offerings each day. The convenience of having a full kitchen stocked with cookware and dishware/utensils is wonderful for those staying multiple nights and don't want to throw away leftovers or want to make their own meals. The location is wonderful too. We were there for a convention and the proximity to the convention center cannot be beat. Even with 2 young children in tow, it only took 15-20 minutes to walk there. If you exit from the lower level, you are able to go across the street to the UConn school of business building and go up the stairs for a pedestrian only walkway directly to the convention center and the riverfront.

Room was of great space! The bathroom could be redone as the wallpaper was peeled off but not a big deal. The water pressure was absolutely awful. Anita, Ms. Carolyn and a woman named "Tierra" was super sweet upon check in. I didn't utilize the facilities. I was there for two days for a con. There's plenty of parking. I would come here again.

Alice

Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good although making tea was not easy! Good location for walking in the downtown area. Also well situated for public transport to and from the airport and the Westfarm mall. Loved out 2 bedroom suite but would have liked a better view for the price charged.
